The Hishi Weave

In Japan, there's a water chestnut ("Hishi") that grows rapidly and spreads abundantly. They have distinct diamond-shaped leaves that are a sight to behold. Mother Nature really is the greatest artist. You should look them up if you have time. I couldn't help but see the similarities in this lovely aquatic plant and the patterns within this bag. When looking deeper into the meaning of Hishi, the Japanese traditionally associate this pattern with prosperity, strong vitality, and long-lasting fortune. I couldn't agree more with this association.
