Sol de Roma

Where do I begin? Mexico City perhaps? Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Condesa, Polanco! Have you ever been? I haven't, but I will and can't wait to explore when I do. The food, the Pinnacle bars, the vibrancy of a city whose people and culture inspire the world. Sol de Roma is my interpretation of what I'd imagine it's like to be in a taqueria, mid-afternoon in the heart of one of these Mexico City neighborhoods. Conjunto jarocho music plays in the background, you're surrounded by patrons who are smiling and laughing; an ice cold cerveza is pressed against your lips while the chef whips up your tacos de canasta. You take a long sip, look around and think to yourself, "What a beautiful world we live in."
