September Strand

Some of my favorite coming of age movies or stories happen in the northeast. The Hamptons, Montauk, Newport, Nantucket, the list goes on. Those luxury resort "cabana-striped towels" are my favorite props that blend into the background of various scenes. They're classic, chic and will never go out of style. The fabric of this bag comes from an old, round table cloth that might have come from one of these places. I'll never truly know, but as I watch the season change from summer to fall, I can't help but think there's a beach somewhere out east that hasn't quite given up on the warmer weather. A September Strand awaits.
